The gaskets function to create a seal between the various parts within the components of hydraulic systems, there are several main types of gaskets and these gaskets have subtypes.

In principle, the gaskets are divided according to the different sealing requirements, for example gaskets designed for static sealing, gaskets designed for linear movement, and gaskets for rotational sealing, and all types of gaskets are also diagnosed from the type of materials from which they are made.
